LG Q6
Introduction
The Q6 is LG's latest crack at the budget smartphone market. But instead of making yet another cookie cutter device, LG has decided to shape it in the mold of its flagship - the G6.
The result is a phone that you'd certainly call G6 mini if you went by looks alone. The taller 18:9 display with its eye-catching curved corners instantly makes the Q6 stand out in a sea of mid-rangers that are, frankly, quite boring to look at.
Nokia 5 review
Introduction
Part of the original trio announced in the spring to mark Nokia return to making phones, the Nokia 5 occupies the middle ground between the basic 3 and the slightly fancier 6. We've been arguing on what's the right way to break ties when rounding numbers (you know, the usual office quarrels) and Nokia's gone with the controversial 'round half up'.

Htc U11
Introduction
Just when we thought HTC was through with this generation's flagship announcement in the form of the U Ultra, the Taiwanese manufacturer decided it would squeeze one more release in. But before we get to explain the terrible pun we just made, let us introduce the HTC U11 - the company's true 2017 flagship offer.
Samsung galaxy S8 review
Introduction
When 5 inches is the de-facto standard for a compact Android handset, yet you want to prove that more is always better, what do you do? Well, it depends on the definition of more. You can do something crazy, stupid or impossible. Samsung? They decided to be sensible. Design a phone, build a screen, put the screen where it always goes. Business as usual.
It's pretty much the same phone as the Galaxy S7. Size-wise, that is. Only with a 5.8" display where there used to be a 5.1" screen.
5.8=5.1. How is this possible? Well, maybe the new Galaxy S is from the same book as this.
Honor 9
Introduction
It's Honor's turn now - time to wave Leica's license fees goodbye and welcome the annual Huawei P flagship at a bargain price. The Honor 9 is shinier, arguably more powerful, and above all - way more affordable. And Honor 9 is not just a P10 for the masses, it's also a OnePlus 5 killer. The bar is high, the expectations big, and this review has just started.
Oppo R11
Introduction
The Oppo R11 is perfectly capable of standing its own ground in the midrange and has just enough flair and character to put pressure on the upper tier. Now, it's not of the same caliber as the OnePlus 5 and it obviously isn't the touted Find 9 either, to put another rumor to rest - but it doesn't need to apologize or explain.
Comparisons to the OnePlus 5 are inevitable considering the relationship between the two companies. Issues of who owns what aside, the Oppo R11 was announced ahead of and beat the OnePlus 5 to market.
